Ce se află în spatele unei matrițe pentru lumânări înalte?

What's behind a tall candle mold?

Tall Easter candles are spectacular, but making them is not simple at all.
For a 50–80 cm candle, the mold must be stable, precise, and easy to use.
That's why professional molds for such candles are more complex and include much more than a simple silicone shape.
In the case of our molds, each model is the result of our own design and a complete system designed for easy pouring and perfect results.
Proprietary models developed from scratch
Many molds available on the market are copies of old or generic models.
Here, each mold is developed in-house:
•the design is created from scratch
•proportions are optimized for proper burning
•details are designed for easy demolding
This process involves:
➡modeling
➡prototyping
➡in-workshop testing
Practically, before a mold becomes available in the store, it goes through several stages of development and real-world testing with wax.
Large quantity of professional silicone
A mold for a tall candle requires much more silicone than a standard one.
For the mold not to deform under the weight of hot wax, the walls must be thicker and more resistant.
This ensures:
➡stability during pouring
➡clear details
➡durability for repeated use.
Complete support system
One of the most important aspects of very tall candles is the stability of the mold during pouring.
That's why our molds include a specially designed support system for them.
This system:
➡keeps the mold perfectly straight
➡stabilizes the shape during pouring
➡correctly supports the wick
➡makes the process much easier for the user
Without such a system, pouring a 60–80 cm candle can become difficult and risky.
Easy demolding even for very tall candles
Another major challenge is removing the candle from the mold.
The design of the molds is conceived so that:
•the silicone is flexible enough
•details are perfectly preserved
•the candle can be demolded without risk of breakage.
These details seem small but make a huge difference in everyday use.
An investment for many pours
Professional molds are not created for a few uses.
They are designed for:
•repeated use
•constant production
•identical results every time.
A well-made mold can produce dozens or even hundreds of candles, preserving perfect details and shape.
Conclusion
Molds for tall Easter candles are more expensive because they involve:
proprietary design and product development
large quantity of professional silicone
complex technical construction
complete support system for pouring
real-world testing in the workshop.
The result is a mold that makes the process much simpler and safer, even for very large candles.
